The library at LIBA was established in 1979, the same year when the business school came into existence. Since then the library has grown from strength to strength as an integral part of this business school.LIBA’s library is already known as one of the best of its kind in the country and boasts of a large number of top-class management books. The Library provides tailor-made services to faculty, staff, students, alumni, and research scholars. Apart from books (over 31,000) our collection extends to about 65 print periodicals on management, e-resources i.e. online databases ProQuest ABI/INFORM COMPLETE and intranet databases from CMIE – Prowess and Industry outlook, 1000 CDs and subscription to a large number of leading Indian newspapers. The spacious reading hall is accommodated in a computerized and Wi-Fi enabled building and is open seven days a week. The Library provides excellent ambience for self-study and research.
LIBA has excellent hostels, for men and women, located within the campus. The hostels with well-furnished rooms, provide an ideal ambience to make residents feel at home. The scenic surrounding, the calm and serene atmosphere provide a comfortable and conducive environment for learning. The hostels have wired internet connectivity. The Men’s hostel is a multi-storied building. A single room is allotted to each student. The hostel includes indoor sporting facilities and a common room on the ground floor. Residents can use the Loyola College boarding facilities.The women’s hostel has double occupancy rooms with a common room on the ground floor. The hostel is shared with the Loyola College Women’s hostel. There is an exclusive boarding facility for women. The Loyola College sports facilities can also be used by the students.
