OVERVIEW

LIBA has established the Loyola Centre for Business Ethics and Corporate Governance to propagate business ethics and internationally accepted corporate governance practices for the benefit of students, who are the future of the business world. Objectives of the Centre are to raise awareness on ethical issues, inspire socially responsible leadership, enrich ethical knowledge and societal obligations and to promote principle based corporate governance.

OVERVIEW

Prof.C.K.Prahalad premise that business models can mobilise socio-economic change by engaging the poor in the marketplace profitably is the inspiration behind the ‘Prof.C.K.Prahalad Centre for Emerging India’. The centre seeks to promote entrepreneurial ideas produced by and more importantly for the ‘Bottom of the Pyramid’ (BOP). LIBA-Informatics Centre (LIBA-IC), a CSR initiative of LIBA, empowers Bottom of Economic Pyramid (BoP) by providing IT Education, Employability-skill training and support services for tiny, micro and small Enterprises. The Courses have been designed and customized to meet current needs of industry and market. The LIBA-IC focusses on blending cognitive, non-cognitive, business / trade, finance and communication aspects. Employability skills – computer, communication, accounting and other soft skills – are provided to all participants

Loyola Inclusive Innovation Impact Centre (L3iC)

OVERVIEW

Loyola Inclusive Innovation Impact Centre (L3iC), is an open inclusive innovation startup eco-system established under the aegis of Prof. C.K.Prahalad Centre for Emerging India. The centre shall provide space, funds and mentorship to startups. The emphasis is of promoting social enterprises with participation of innovators, entrepreneurs, students, faculty, and alumni. Participants at incubation centre shall ideate, iterate and identify viable solutions (products / services), experiment with inclusive business models, find investments and explore scaling up options. Hackathons, workshops, symposiums, seminars and conferences are conducted to enrich inclusive innovation and startup eco-system.
