LIBA and TIE – ESPIRE 2011
Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Chennai, come together to present their fourth edition of “Espire” the Pan-India Business Plan Search of the Year.

If you have a business idea and the passion, commitment, zeal and the entrepreneurial motivation to blossom that idea in to a full-blown commercial venture, this competition is for you. The objective of the contest is to foster entrepreneurship through identifying and recognizing ideas and talent that can create tomorrow's businesses. Bridging Borders between the contestants and the market place is the collective goal of the organizers. The Contest is open to business ideas that involve or leverage technology in any sphere of human activity - be it services, energy, agriculture, manufacturing, construction or education, to name a few possibilities. The contesting teams will include students and experienced professionals, and the entries will be evaluated by a team of Jurors that will include successful Entrepreneurs, VCs, Industry Captains and members of the Academia.

TiE Global is organizing an All-Asia Business Plan Competition (AABPC),this is an International program for Asia based Graduate-level university students.

TiE Chennai Chapter is organizing Level 1 of the competition and aligning the same with LIBA and TiE's ESPIRE 2011- Business Plan Search of the Year. Prof.C.K.Prahalad center for emerging India-Incubation centre, being an integral part of this process.

The winner of the student category will travel to Delhi for the All Asia finals in Feb 2012 (Level 2)

The winner from level 2 will be guaranteed a place at the Rice University Business Plan Competition on April 12-14, 2012, the largest and richest intercollegiate business plan competition in the world, hosted at Rice University in Houston, Texas (Level 3).

NOTE :The winners of the Delhi Finals will receive mentoring and coaching prior to entering the competition at Rice University.

Some of the innovative and commercially viable business plan will also be selected for incubation at Liba.

The competition opens in the Second week of September 2011 and registration will close on Oct 15th, 2011. The final event, when the finalists will make presentations to the Jury is scheduled to take place on November 24, 2011, in Chennai.
