| | | | Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), as a Jesuit Institution, passionately endeavours to train professionally competent managers imbued with a sense of justice, integrity, honesty and ethical values. The aim is the creation of a cadre of socially responsible business leaders committed to the upliftment of the poor and marginalized. The Jesuit charisma impels the students passing through the portals of LIBA, to build bridges between business and society, competence and compassion, and profit making and ethical conduct. One of our attempts at encouraging and promoting this ideal among the business world was the institution of the Mother Teresa Award for Corporate Citizen. Yet another milestone was the establishment of the Centre for Business Ethics and Corporate Governance instituted to mark the silver jubilee year of LIBA. In continuum, LIBA has established the Centre for Supply Chain Management. The recent addition to this effort towards marginal excellence is Central for Retail Management. |
