Retailing Industry in India is fast emerging as one of the major pillar of our economy in this decade, as IT industry did in the last decade. Co-organised retailing calls for higher order managerial knowledge and skills. The impact of globalisation on this industry naturally demands systematic learning of the relevant skills and knowledge, to be a successful manager. This is the raison d’etre of this course.
Course Objective:
- To understand organised retailing in the current business environment of India and other developed/developing countries
- To learn the skills and knowledge required to build a retail business, including retailing strategy
- To develop capabilities to understand the customers of retailing business and to satisfy customers
- To comprehend the technologies involved in retailing and to learn basic skill sets needed for technological applications.

4) Retail Technology - (Skills learning in computer lab)
- (Logistics and Multichannel retailing)
