Library Week Celebration
The Reader’s Guild of LIBA organized Library Week on 19th and 20th November 2025 to promote reading habits, creative expression, and critical thinking among students. Beginning with an online essay competition on “The Writings of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar,” which encouraged reflection on his life and philosophy, the two-day celebration incorporated a Book Fair, inaugurated by Prof. P. C. Lakshmi Narayanan, Dean Academics, where students explored diverse genres and curated displays. Around 195 F25 students participated in team-based quizzes, listening challenges, and individual reading, writing, and speaking activities such as crosswords, story-building, caption writing, and JAM rounds. The event concluded with a screening of The Dark Knight, complemented by refreshments from the Honesty Shop, blending learning with engagement and entertainment.
