The objective of the two-year full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme is to facilitate the development of individuals.
The objective of the three-year part-time PGDM programme is to equip working executives with managerial skills necessary to take up senior management positions. The course is structured in such a way that students of the part-time programme go through the same rigour as the full-time programme. Executives with a willingness to learn the latest management mantras to further their career growth are best suited to this programme.
LIBA has grown since its inception and now has become an institute of research. The University of Madras has granted recognition to LIBA as a Centre for conducting Research, leading to Ph.D. Degree in Business Administration. The uniqueness of the programme is that unlike other major business schools who offer only a Fellow Programme, LIBA offers a Ph.D. degree in affiliation with the University of Madras. LIBA is the first B-school to be recognized by the University of Madras to conduct Doctoral programmes in Business Administration.
