76th Republic Day celebrations

The 76th Republic Day celebrations were held at Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) on 26th January 2025. Ignatian dispositional prayer, and prayer song led by the LIBA Choir, followed by the rendition of the Tamizh Thaai Vaazhthu and welcome address by Rev. Fr. Y. Poondy Rajan, SJ, Finance Controller-LIBA set the tone for the event. The Indian flag was then unfurled by Mr. A.S. Muthukumar, Office Assistant at LIBA, in accordance with the tradition of bestowing upon unsung heroes the honour of unfurling the National Flag. National Anthem was sung, and the Republic Day speech was delivered by Dr. M.P. Pandikumar, Area Chair – Finance, who encouraged students to contribute effectively to the growth of the Indian economy. The event concluded with the Constitution Pledge, led by Prof. P.C. Lakshmi Narayanan, Dean-Academics, and a dance performance by INARA.
