BREAKFREE 2019
“BreakFree 2019” organized by the Entrepreneurship Club – Espire and 360 Degrees, The Student Affairs Committee of LIBA was back this year on August 5th and 6th with a bang. The event promotions began with an eye-catching flash mob organized by the students. The annual entrepreneurial event of LIBA meant to showcase the talents of budding entrepreneurs within the college saw a registration of over 15 stalls selling items ranging from food to accessories. As the name suggests, the entire event was conducted during the breaks and after study hours. The event saw the return of some of the popular food items from last year such as Beef Parotta, Pazhampuri, brownies and ice golas. Apart from the food stalls, there were exciting games such as shoe-flick, ring toss and coin in the bucket which saw an overwhelming response from the crowd. The footfall which included students from within the Loyola campus, as well as faculty from LIBA, was around 500. The event also saw the Director giving away a cash prize for the best organized stall. This year also saw an additional delivery service of food to the faculty who could not attend the event due to their lecture schedules. The jukebox was buzzing all day long with peppy tracks and songs, dedicated by the students to their friends and loved ones. There was an anonymous message stall for the students to express handwritten messages of affection. The two-day event was a huge success as well as a learning point for the first year students to work as a team, with joyful memories and excitement for the next year to come.
