The seventh session of the Faculty Seminar Series (FSS 08) at LIBA was held on 17th January 2025, featuring a presentation by Dr. S. Shyni Carmel Mary, Assistant Professor of Analytics, on “Exploring AI-Powered E-Commerce Among Young Consumers.” Dr. Shyni’s presentation explored the transformative impact of AI-driven tools on consumer behavior, focusing on behavioural intention, usage behaviour, and the moderating effects of demographic and psychological factors. She applied the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework and integrated insights from models like TAM, TRA, and SCT. The findings highlighted the significant influence of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and psychological factors such as trust and emotional connections.
