Inauguration of Centre for Sustainability Excellence & Launch of 3R Drive

On 3rd March 2025, Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) inaugurated the Centre for Sustainability Excellence, marking a significant step in promoting environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices. The event aimed to raise awareness among faculty and students about mindful consumption and responsible behaviour. Dr. P. Vasumathi, Chair of the Centre, shared that sustainability is a way of life to be integrated into everyday decisions, while Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, Director – LIBA, emphasized the institution’s commitment to sustainability as a core value. The inauguration included the presentation of the 3R Drive—ReFab, ReBoot, and ReLeaf—demonstrating upcycling, circular economy principles, and environmental restoration. This reflects LIBA’s dedication to fostering sustainability-driven innovations, empowering students, and shaping a greener, better future.
