Inauguration of Certificate Programmes by MDC-LIBA

On 2^nd February 2025, the Management Development Centre (MDC) at LIBA launched two three-month Certificate Programs: “Lean Six Sigma Green Belt” and “Applied Data Science.” Dr. Sunil Vakayil, Chair, MDC-LIBA, welcomed the resource persons: Prof. Kidambi Srinivasan for Lean Six Sigma and Mr. Karthik Veer for Applied Data Science. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program, welcoming 30 participants, focuses on process improvement, waste reduction, and data-driven problem-solving to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. While the Applied Data Science program, with 25 participants, is designed to equip professionals with practical skills in data cleaning, analysis, and visualization using industry-standard tools like Excel, MySQL, Tableau, and Power BI, enabling them to transform data into actionable insights. Both programs aim to empower participants with valuable, real-world skills for career advancement.
