Inauguration of the Reader’s Guild and book review of Prof. Ramasubramaniam

The inauguration of the Reader’s Guild at LIBA, a key highlight of the Annual Library Week Celebrations 2024, took place on 26^th November 2024, with Rev. Fr. Louie Albert, SJ, Chairman of the Jesuit Higher Education Commission, Chennai Province (CEN), Rev. Fr. Y. Poondy Rajan, SJ, Finance Controller, and Prof. Lakshmi Narayanan, Dean-Academics. Theme of the event was “Storytelling 2.0 – The Future of Reading,” symbolizing the shift from physical to digital books in the age of Artificial Intelligence and hybrid reading. A symbolic watering of a sapling preceded the insightful book review titled De-mystifying Business Data Visualization, presented by Prof. M. Ramasubramaniam, Professor of Operations & Business Analytics LIBA, and Mr. Daniel Peter, Vice President of Gamma Analytics, and reviewed by Ms. Aswini Rajesh, Climate Fresk Facilitator.
