LIBAzaar- 2022
LIBAzaar, the marketing carnival has been organized by the MarkIt club of LIBA since 2015 with a new theme every year. The theme for this year was: AI – The Future is already here, and the event was held on 27th March 2022. More than 23 companies have given us research projects with some of the Big Brands like Cadbury, ITC, Jinglebid, Go Colours, TVS Electronics, Hamleys’, Odyssey, IFB, Pantaloons, Way cool, VCare, Mondalez, Oneplus, Ingenta, Icestone, etc giving projects to our students to conduct market, product, and brand-related research studies. Students had designed an array of interesting games to capture data. Major sponsors were Afton, Rox Systems, SBI, Ather, and Premier Health Centre. The event started with an Inaugural function at 9:30 AM. Mr. Sundar Raj, Senior VP and Business Head, Reliance Retail was the Chief Guest. He threw light on the opportunities and prospects for the retail industry of India and gave an overview of a few retail-specific terms and jargon. The event also saw on–stage and off-stage events like Drawing, Colouring, Light Music, dance, fashion show, shipwreck, and call of duty where performances from various colleges across Chennai were showcased.
