Logistics Conclave 2024

The Logistics Conclave 2024, centred on the theme “Human-Machine Interaction in Logistics,” was organized by the Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, LIBA, on 6^th September 2024 at Dr. S. Xavier Britto Auditorium. Prof. P.C. Lakshmi Narayanan, Dean-Academics, set the tone for the event and Prof. P. Chandiran, Chair – Operations and Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, provided an overview of the Conclave’s objectives, emphasizing that it would serve as a platform for industry experts to share their experiences and insights into operations. Dr. Arunachalam R, MD & CEO of IBOB Supply Chain Solutions, and Mr. Unnikrishnan Sasikumar, Vice President of Mindsprint, were the key speakers. The conclave aimed to explore the impact of advanced technologies such as robotics, AI, and automation on the logistics industry. It also sought to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among students and industry stakeholders, fostering the integration of human-machine interactions in logistics operations and identifying the challenges and opportunities these interactions present in logistics and supply chain management.
