Loyola Institute of Business Administration signed an MoU with Tata Consultancy Services – 24th of March, 2017
On the 24th of March, 2017, Loyola Institute of Business Administration signed an MoU with Tata Consultancy Services – TCS becoming the first Business school to offer a specialization in Business Analytics. The guests of honor were Mr. Ranjan Bandyopadhyay – Global Head of HR for Strategic Initiatives and BPO, TCS, Mr. Santosh Mohanty – Vice President and global head of IP and product engineering group at TCS and Mr. Rajiv Noronha – Vice President in HR and Head of Organizational Effectiveness, TCS.
Mr. Ranjan emphasized on the importance of grooming skilled professionals in Big Data and Business Analytics and added that the requirements for the
same were growing and currently close to 1 million.

IBA, pointed out the reasons for signing such an MoU saying that the key to success of any business school is the increasing interface with the industry. He also highlighted some of the future plans of LIBA such as offering an MBA in Analytics in collaboration with TCS, working with Universities abroad for the same and also the initiative to create a Centre for Analytics and Insights.
Mr. Santhosh outlined some of the problems faced today in gathering information, such as volume, velocity, variety and veracity which serves as the basis for Big Data Analytics. And thus, for professionals to substantiate any business decisions they require massive information with basic knowledge of Big Data to provide added insights.
The event came to an end with the signing of the MoU followed by a press release.

I applied for the course of executive dIploma in business analytics. But i haven’t got any acknowledgment or any message back from thecollege with regards to the admission day. May i please get some information with regards to that?
