Market Study at JMMEx
On 18th March 2025, Prof. C.K. Prahalad Centre for Emerging India (CKP), in collaboration with Jesuit Migrants Ministry External (JMMEx) Kasthambadi, conducted a market study at Kirubalya, Villupuram, aimed at empowering local entrepreneurs, by providing training in marketing and selling skills. Led by Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, Director – LIBA, and guided by Rev. Fr. Y. Poondy Rajan, SJ, Finance Controller – LIBA, the initiative attracted 46 participants from nearby villages, primarily entrepreneurs in tailoring, cloth selling, and food products. Rev. Fr. Velankanni, SJ, Director of JMMEx introduced the chief guests, and honoured them. Dr. Pradeep, Co-Chair of CKP Centre, spoke about product quality, communication, and digital marketing for business growth, while addressing participants’ business-related questions. Mr. Anthony, a garment business owner, shared his insights on the cloth business, making the session an engaging and insightful start to the project.
