QUALIFICATION & SPECIALIZATION : Double Ph.D. in Finance and Management Accounting, Fellow Member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India (FCMA), Fellow Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (FCS), Bachelor of General Law , M Phil in Entrepreneurship and MBA from LIBA.
EXPERIENCE IN YEARS TEACHING/PRACTICE/INDUSTRY/RESEARCH : Held the position of Managing Director, Director, Group CFO over 35 years in Corporates both in India and International and over 12 years of teaching experience.
Dr. S. Ravichandran is Professor Finance at LIBA.
He was previously a Profit Centre Head, Corporate Finance & Business Veteran with over 35 years experience. He has an established track record in leading corporate restructurings, expansions and capital market transactions. He has demonstrated business acumen, in leading & managing operations, resulting in increased organic growth. He has experience in setting up subsidiaries and acquiring companies globally. He was earlier Managing Director in National Trust Housing Finance, Chennai, for over 7 years and was Group CFO and Senior Vice President in Texmaco Group at Jakarta for over 4 years. His other experiences include working at Ashok Leyland Group, for over 7 years. He held Directorship in Indian and International Corporate Bodies in UK, USA, Australia, Dubai, Singapore and Mauritius.
He has over 12 years of teaching experience in Loyola College, LIBA and New College Institute of Management (NCIM). Besides, he was guest speaker on key financial topics including “US GAAP”, “Transfer Pricing” “Strategic Cost Management” “Financial Re-Engineering” for Professional bodies and Institutions.
