Students Ethics Conference 2024

The Centre for Business Ethics and Corporate Governance, LIBA, hosted the Students Ethics Conference 2024 on 12^th September 2024, on the theme “Intent to Impact: The Power of Individual Social Responsibility (ISR).” Mr. Karthik Nagarajan, CEO of Hogarth (India), and a notable Alumni of LIBA delivered the keynote address and highlighted the transformative power of individual responsibility in achieving collective ethical progress. The panellists Ms. Sanjana Vijay, Co-Founder, Sukha Education Foundation and Manager at Vilgro Innovations Solutions, and Ms. Aksheyaa Akilan, Founder of the Hibiscus Foundation for Social Welfare, led an engaging session on inclusive livelihoods and social welfare initiatives. Speakers provided valuable insights on how social responsibility at the individual level contributes to sustainable development in the corporate world and the crucial role of ISR in fostering ethical business practices. This aimed to promote ethical values in business conduct while nurturing research and problem-solving skills.
