Two-Day Hybrid Workshop on Thesis Writing and Quality Research

Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) organized a two-day hybrid workshop on “Thesis Writing and Quality Research” on 29th and 30th November 2024, aimed at equipping participants with essential skills in thesis writing, research methodologies, and data analysis. The event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Y. Poondy Rajan, SJ and Prof. P. Chandiran, Area Chair, Operations, welcomed the participants. Day 1 included insightful sessions on compiling a Ph.D. thesis, covering key sections such as introduction, literature review, research methodology, and data analysis, led by Prof. Jayakrishna Kandasamy. A session on “Post-Ph.D. Opportunities for Scholars” explored academic and non-academic career paths, followed by a hands-on SPSS training session by Dr. S. Uma Priyadarshini. Day 2 featured discussions on research framework development, theory building by Dr. P. Murugan, and a session on Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).
