Great Sales Debate – #2

The 2^nd edition of the Great Sales Debate (GSD) 2024-2025 took place on 16^th August 2024, at Dr. S. Xavier Britto Auditorium, LIBA, focusing on the topic “Which is superior in storytelling: Movies or Books?” Organized by the Markit Club of LIBA and the Centre for Sales Excellence, the debate aimed to enhance critical thinking, communication skills, and understanding of storytelling in the marketing context. Mr. Deepak Raj, Accounts Executive at ANIMAKER Inc., moderated the event. The debate, part of a series intended for students and industry experts, began with a prayer song and an introduction of the moderator. Ms. Neha Anna Cherian and Ms. Monica Dela Cruz were recognized as the best speakers of GSD 2, and the team arguing for books was declared the overall winner. Both mediums complement each other, enriching the narrative arts and engaging audiences in distinct ways.
