Personal Growth Lab 2024

Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun SJ, Director – LIBA, led the F24 Batch through a transformative Personal Growth Lab (PGL) program on 3rd October 2024, alongside a team of HR faculty. His impactful session centred on the theme of Metamorphosis, using the analogy of a caterpillar’s transformation into a butterfly to emphasize the journey of personal growth, vulnerability, and self-liberation. Throughout the program, students engaged in introspective exercises such as journaling and interactive discussions, exploring emotional awareness and healing their inner child. They were encouraged to confront their vulnerabilities and embrace change as a natural and necessary part of growth. Fr. Director inspired the students to view their personal challenges as transformative stages in their journey toward becoming stronger, more resilient individuals. In addition to this deep inner work, the importance of community and authentic connections was highlighted, emphasizing that personal growth is not a solitary endeavour but one that is deeply tied to relationships and collective support. The event left students with a profound sense of self-awareness, purpose, and a commitment to ongoing personal development.
