Onam 2025

On 30th August 2025, LIBA celebrated Onam with colourful decorations, a traditional Pookalam, and a day filled with cultural and festive activities that brought together students, faculty, and staff. The celebrations at the Dr. S. Xavier Britto Auditorium began with Chenda Melam, a skit on King Mahabali and the graceful Thiruvathirakali dance, followed by inspiring words from our Director, Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, who highlighted LIBA’s role in nurturing both academic excellence and cultural belonging. Cultural performances by Concordia and Inara added charm to the occasion before the festivities moved to the OAT, where traditional games such as Uriyadi, Vadam Vali, Sundariki Bottu, Musical Chairs, and Lemon and Spoon created joy and camaraderie. The festivities concluded with the grand Onam Sadhya, leaving the sweet taste of LIBA community bonding in every heart and mind.
