Great Sales Debate – 4
The fourth edition of the Great Sales Debate, held on 10th October 2025 at Dr. Xavier Britto Auditorium, once again transformed the venue into a theatre of insight, humour, and conviction. With Mr. Roshan Thomas as the Master of Ceremonies, the event brought together some of LIBA’s most articulate student speakers to debate a pressing marketing dilemma of the digital age—whether brand credibility today is shaped more by paid influencers or by user-generated content (UGC). The discussion was moderated by Ms. Berni Bernard, HR Business Partner at Asset Plus, whose expertise in employee branding and digital reputation enriched the dialogue with thoughtful interventions and concluding remarks, turning the debate into a practical masterclass in consumer behaviour. Ms. Nandhini Balaji was awarded Best Speaker for her strong data-backed arguments, industry insights, and confident delivery. The event concluded with the felicitation of the moderator, a vote of thanks, and a customary group photo, leaving participants with the lasting reminder that while influence can be sponsored, true credibility must be earned.
