Logistics Conclave 2025 & Inauguration of Arista Club
The Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management at LIBA organized the Logistics Conclave 2025 on 4th September 2025 at Dr. S. Xavier Britto Auditorium on the theme “Logistics in Quick Commerce”, alongside the inauguration of the Arista Club. With objectives to examine the role of logistics in supporting delivery models in the quick commerce sector and to discuss operational challenges and technological developments in last-mile logistics, the conclave brought together academic leaders and industry experts. Prof. P.C. Lakshmi Narayanan, Dean-Academics, set the tone for the session, while Prof. P. Chandiran, Chair-Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management highlighted its purpose as a platform for industry knowledge sharing. Moderated by Prof. M. Ramasubramaniam, Area Chair-Business Analytics, guest speakers Mr. Naveen Kolathur, discussed market growth, AI-driven forecasting, SKU-level customization, and vendor-managed inventory, and Mr. Gauranga Sahu, who addressed shifts in consumer purchasing, sourcing models, and workforce challenges in time-sensitive delivery. The event also included the induction of Arista Club members and the announcement of winners of the OOPS Zone Competition, marking a successful step in fostering learning, collaboration, and innovation in logistics and supply chain management at LIBA.
