Dr. Revathi is the Dean – Academics. She has worked as a HR professional in some of the leading IT firms such as Polaris Software Lab, Ramco Systems and Servion Global Solutions. She has also conducted several training programmes related to human resource management for these organizations. While doing her doctoral programme, she was a member of faculty at different academic institutions, including the University of Madras and Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Her main areas of interest are Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour.

G. Revathi
is a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, and an M.B.A. from the Department of Management Studies, Madurai Kamaraj University. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology / Organizational Behaviour / Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Technology – Madras.

After graduation she worked for some years as a HR professional in the IT firms Polaris Software Lab, Ramco Systems and Servion Global Solutions. Her work involved training, recruitment and selection.

Her assignments in training sparked off an interest in moving over full-time to academics, and this led her to obtain a Ph.D. in HR/Industrial Psychology from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology – Madras in 2006. Since then she has been with LIBA.

She also has prior teaching experience at other institutes, including the University of Madras and IIT-Madras (during her doctoral programme).
