Graduation Ceremony – Mini-MBA programme

The Graduation Ceremony for the students of Mini-MBA programme was held on 12^th August 2024. A procession led by Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun SJ, Director – LIBA, featured notable guests including Rev. Fr. Jebamalai Irudayaraj, Provincial, Jesuit Chennai Province, Smt. Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha and Parliamentary Chairperson of DMK, and other dignitaries. The ceremony included prayers, a tree planting, and readings from Rabindranath Tagore and Arthanareeswarar Sthothiram. Fr. Director highlighted the programme’s impact on marginalized communities especially transgenders and thanked Smt. Kanimozhi and the Tamil Nadu government or their inclusive schemes. Smt. Kanimozhi addressed the graduates, emphasizing support for transpersons and encouraging their success. Ms. Sudha from the Sagodharan NGO praised the contributions of both Smt. Kanimozhi and Fr. Director. The ceremony concluded with the awarding of certificates to 20 graduates, followed by reflections of Ms. Sarrah Mary S, graduate representative of the batch and a celebratory lunch.
