Great Sales Debate #2
On 12th September 2025, the Mark-IT Club of LIBA, in collaboration with the Centre for Sales Excellence, hosted the second edition of the Great Sales Debate (GSD) 2025–26 at Dr. S. Xavier Britto Auditorium on the theme “Which is Better: Talking More vs. Listening More in Sales?” Moderated by Mr. Prashanth Mathiyalagan, Officer at Bank of America, the debate explored how communication styles shape sales effectiveness, balancing persuasion with attentive listening. Students engaged in a dynamic exchange of ideas on trust-building, deal closure, and long-term relationships, gaining both critical thinking and industry insights. The Best Speaker Award was presented to Mr. Prahlad V Prabhakar, who received an Amazon gift coupon, after which the session concluded with the felicitation of the moderator and a group photo, leaving the students inspired with new perspectives on the art of selling.
