Awareness Programme on Entrepreneurship & Marketing Skills

On 18th September 2025, Prof. C. K. Prahalad Centre for Emerging India (CKPC) at LIBA, in collaboration with Jesuits Migrants Ministry External (JMMEx), organized an Awareness Programme on Entrepreneurship & Marketing Skills under the guidance of Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun SJ, Director – LIBA, and with the support of Rev. Fr. Christu Raja SJ, Associate Director – LIBA. At the programme which brought together 48 entrepreneurs from Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Cuddalore, and Kallakurichi districts, Fr. Director expressed LIBA’s commitment to empowering rural women and youth through entrepreneurial and marketing skills, while Dr. Pradeep E, Chair of CKP Centre, welcomed participants and introduced the sessions. Prof. Shanthi Venkatesh, Area Chair – Marketing, LIBA, discussed branding, pricing, product originality, certification, and customer reviews as growth enablers, followed by a session by Mr. Srinivasan K.U., Principal Consultant – Strategy at Connecting Dots Strategic Consulting, who shared insights on leveraging government schemes and practical strategies for promotion and presentation. The day concluded with participant feedback, marking the programme’s success in equipping entrepreneurs with vital skills for sustainable growth.
