Abidance 2024: The Need to Regulate the AI/Analytics Landscape

The Analytics Conclave, “AbIdance: The Need to Regulate the AI/Analytics Landscape,” was held on 9^th August 2024, at Dr. S. Xavier Britto Auditorium, LIBA and featured Mr. Dinesh Kumar P, Product Manager – Kissflow and Mr. Navaneethan Gopal, Data Science Manager – Ingram Micro as speakers. Prof. P.C. Lakshmi Narayanan, Dean-Academics, welcomed the attendees. Mr. Dinesh Kumar discussed the ethical implications of AI, while Mr. Navaneethan Gopal covered necessary regulatory frameworks. The speakers answered student questions, and Mr. Aravind Kumar of F23 batch summarized key learnings. This event aimed at emphasizing the need for regulating the AI/analytics landscape in business and addressing practical challenges in implementing technology-related regulatory protocols.
