BMI Session 07 ‎

The seventh session of the Beyond Management Initiatives (BMI) for the year 2025–26, titled “The Independent Riff: An Artist’s Take on the Musical Journey,” was delivered by Mr. Richard Paul, Singer and Software Development Engineer (SDE 2) at M2P Fintech, on 22nd October 2025. Mr. Richard shared his inspiring journey from being rejected in a choir audition to eventually winning the Best Vocalist award—an experience that motivated him to pursue music seriously while managing the demands of a corporate career. He highlighted the need for artists to balance exceptional talent with a practical backup plan, given the financial uncertainties of the music industry, contrasting this with producers and labels who often prioritize availability and networking. The session featured live musical performances and concluded with the exciting announcement of his upcoming collaborative release.
