Chandrayaan-3’s Historic Lunar Landing: A Triumph of Indian Space Exploration”
On August 23, 2023, a remarkable event took place as the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft landed softly on the lunar south pole. This exciting moment was broadcasted live in the Learning Hall for all F22 and F23 students of LIBA as mandated by AICTE. The aim was to fuel curiosity and spark a passion for exploration within the minds of our students and to generate a profound sense of pride and unity to celebrate the prowess of Indian science and technology. At 5:45 PM IST, the Vikram lander began its powered descent, successfully landing softly on the lunar south pole at 6:04 PM IST, without any damage. By 6:15 PM IST, the Pragyan rover was released from the Vikram lander, rolling out to explore the moon’s surface. This achievement marked a significant milestone for India’s space program and was a moment of pride for all at LIBA.
