Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme
Under the guidance of Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, Director – LIBA, and with the support of Rev. Fr. Christu Raja, SJ, Associate Director – LIBA, Prof. C.K. Prahalad Centre for Emerging India (CKPC), in collaboration with Jesuit Migrant Services (JMS), organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme on 21st August 2025. The programme, aimed at empowering 36 Irular women from six villages in Kadambathur, Tiruvallur District. A welcome address by Rev. Fr. Packiaraj, SJ, Director – JMS, followed by Dr. Pradeep E, Chair of CKP Centre, highlighting the significance of such training initiatives and Mr. Srinivasan K.U., Principal Consultant at Connecting Dots Strategic Consulting the resource person who then focused on identifying entrepreneurial opportunities, raising awareness about government schemes, and encouraging women to voice their aspirations despite challenges arising from family and social conditions. By the end of the programme, participants were filled with a renewed sense of confidence and motivation, equipped with knowledge and inspiration to build sustainable livelihoods and enhance their economic independence.
