Feast of St. Ignatius 2025
St. Ignatius Feast Celebrations 2025 at LIBA were held on 29th July with a spirit of solemnity and joy. The event commenced at the Inigo Courtyard, where Rev. Dr. Anthony Robinson, SJ, Rector of Loyola Institutions, garlanded the statue of St. Ignatius of Loyola, patron saint of LIBA, followed by a prayer song rendered by Concordia – the LIBA Choir. A significant highlight of the day was the inauguration of the ‘Wall of Kindness’ and the ‘Honesty Shop’—initiatives led by the Centre for Business Ethics and Corporate Governance, in collaborationn with the Radius Club. Contributions from these initiatives were dedicated to the Jesuit Migrant Service, embodying the spirit of compassion and social responsibility. The celebrations continued at Dr. S. Xavier Britto Auditorium in the esteemed presence of Rev. Fr. Rector, Rev. Fr. Louis Arockiaraj, SJ – Principal, Loyola College, Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ – Director, LIBA, and other Jesuits from all units on campus. Symbolic watering of a sapling and vibrant cultural performances by INARA beautifully echoed the Ignatian values of faith, service, and integrity—reaffirming LIBA’s commitment to nurturing ethical and socially responsible leaders.
