Freshers’ Day

On 21st July 2025, the Student Activities Council (SAC) of LIBA, hosted the vibrant Freshers’ Day 2025 at the Xavier Britto Auditorium. The event was themed “Virelia”, symbolising life, growth, and the vibrant journey that lies ahead. Hues of green, aligning with the dress code and the theme filled the auditorium. Green, representing growth and sustainability, set the tone for an evening that celebrated new beginnings. The evening commenced with a soulful prayer song by the LIBA Choir, Concordia, followed by an inspiring Welcome Address by Rev. Dr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, Director of LIBA, who emphasized the importance of new beginnings. A captivating video presentation, “Sowing Bonds,” highlighted the essence of Virelia, followed by mesmerizing performances including “Harmonic Hues” by Concordia and a dynamic performance, “Rhythm of Virelia,” by Inara. The highlight of the evening was the much-anticipated Mr. & Ms. Fresher segment, where Krisha Narayanan L (F25092) was crowned Ms. Fresher and Roshan Parayil Thomas (F25152) was crowned Mr. Fresher.
