Full-Time PGDM Programme

The objective of the two-year full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme. The PGDM programme consists of 145 credits, including the summer project and workshops. The first year of the course presents students with a comprehensive view of the management discipline and a broad perspective of the corporate environment.

Part-Time PGDM Programme

The courses offered as part of the part-time PGDM programme not only impart knowledge in the art and science of modern management and hone the managerial skills in students but also develops their overall personality. Emphasis is laid on developing leadership qualities, communication skills, team building, sensitivity to ethical issues, with continuous review from the faculty and industry.

Executive Diploma Programme

In today’s fast changing world, as the cliché goes, ‘Change is the only constant thing’. Every day, new tools are becoming available, new technologies are emerging, new trends are surfacing and new needs are cropping.

Doctoral Programme

LIBA has grown since its inception and now has its research institute. The University of Madras has granted recognition to LIBA as a Centre for conducting Research leading to Ph.D. Degree in Business Administration. The uniqueness of the programme is that unlike other major business schools who offer only a Fellow Programme, LIBA offers a Ph.D. degree in affiliation with the University of Madras.

Certificate Programme

LIBA, is one of the premier management schools in India, recognized for providing business education par excellence and continuously strives for academic excellence. LIBA is glad to introduce to you our 3 month Certificate Programmes. The programmes focus on various functional areas of business and management and give you the adequate expertise to carry out the task.

Management Development Programme

The MDC conducts programmes for the working professionals that are designed to provide timely learning interventions that help them up-skill and progress in their careers. These programmes are targeted at specific areas of business management with a view to increasing the overall effectiveness in the area.

LIBA has established linkages through MoUs with renowned business schools in the United States, Europe, Australia, China and South America. Management Development Programmes

Centre for Behavioural Science

Though human nature is the same everywhere, human behavior with all its different hues and complexities needs to be studied in its proper cultural context. Diagnosing the etiology of behavioral patterns and assessing their influences in individuals and groups will be important for successful interactions with others.

Centre for Business Ethics & Corporate Governance

LIBA has established the Loyola Centre for Business Ethics and Corporate Governance to propagate business ethics and internationally accepted corporate governance practices for the benefit of students, who are the future of the business world.

Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence

The Loyola Centre for Entrepreneurial Development was established with the aim of creating a spirit of entrepreneurship amongst its young students. The Centre aims at contributing to the society at large by promoting the concept of social entrepreneurship.

Centre for Retail Management

The Centre for Retail Management has been established to provide formal training in the concepts and applications relevant to retail management. The Centre also plans to engage trainees in research and development activities in order to develop models and techniques for effective retail management.

Centre for Supply Chain Management

The Centre for Supply Chain Management at LIBA inculcates theoretical and practical learning among new generation managers in manufacturing and service sectors; especially for IT professionals who design solutions in handling critical supply network issues. Focus is on the use of more productive practices in engineering design, manufacture and movement of goods.

Prof. C.K. Prahalad Centre for Emerging India

Prof.C.K.Prahalad premise that business models can mobilise socio-economic change by engaging the poor in the marketplace profitably, is the inspiration behind the 'Prof.C.K.Prahalad Centre for Emerging India'.
