Student Village Exposure Programme (SVEP) 2024-25
The Student Village Exposure Programme (SVEP) for the F24 Batch, conducted from 3rd to 8th February 2025, by Prof. C.K. Prahalad Centre for Emerging India (CKPC), provided students with firsthand insights into rural life, socio-economic dynamics, and challenges. Under the leadership of Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, Director – LIBA, and guidance of Rev. Fr. Poondy Rajan, SJ, Finance Controller – LIBA, the six-day programme immersed students in village realities, covering topics such as business, infrastructure, and consumer behaviour. Students visited villages like Paramankeni, Marakkana Oodai, and Murungaadu, engaging with community members to understand rural ecosystems and develop sustainable business solutions, particularly focused on uplifting those at the bottom of the pyramid. The programme successfully bridged theoretical knowledge with practical experience, fostering a deeper understanding of rural challenges.
