Insight 2024

Insight 2024 held at Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) on 29^th August 2024, provided a platform for exploring the intersection of AI and leadership. Rev. Fr. Joe Arun, SJ, Director- LIBA, emphasized the dual pursuit of Excel and Excellence in his opening remarks. The event began with the launch of the IgnAI app by Rev. Fr. Anthony Robinson, Rector-Loyola College Institutions, who emphasized on blending AI with humanity. Keynote speaker Mr. John Praveen, Vice President of Technology at Foundever, highlighted how effective leadership in the AI era involves leveraging AI to enhance human capabilities rather than replace them. Further sessions included Ms. Krithika Sivanesan from Mercedes Benz, Financial Services discussing AI’s role in HR, Mr. Sudeesh Sankaravel from Verizon exploring AI’s disruptive impact across industries and Mr. Dhinesh Khanna of Zoho discussing on AI’s collaborative potential in sales and marketing.  The event concluded with a panel discussion featuring experts such as Mr. Prakash Nahata, Mercerdes-Benz on AI in banking, Mr. Krushna Kumar – DHL on AI in business operations, and entrepreneur Mr. Bernard Shaw Thiraviam – Cogno Valley on innovation. Winners of the pre-event competition were felicitated and students were offered valuable insights aimed at equipping future leaders to keep up with the upcoming trends.
